Code of Ethics.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland), we work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
The objective of this Code is to establish and uphold professional practice standards for counsellors affiliated with Highland Well-Ness Collective. Its primary aim is to safeguard individuals from the public who seek our services. The team at Highland Well-Ness Collective acknowledges their obligations to clients, colleagues, and the broader community.
Counselling entails creating professional connections founded on ethical values and principles. Therapists strive to aid clients in enhancing their self-awareness and their interactions with others, fostering more adaptive ways of living, and instigating positive transformations in their lives. Counselling encompasses relationships formed with individuals, couples, families, groups, communities, and organisations.
The counsellors at Highland Well-Ness Collective endeavour to adhere to the ethical guidelines established by either the BACP or COSCA to the best of their capabilities - you can read more about the BACP Ethical Framework here and COSCA Ethical Framework here.
